The relevant recommendation is contained in a letter from the Ministry of Education and Science.
According to Deputy Minister of Education Peter Korzhevsky, now in Ukraine a significant number of students of vocational schools are waiting for the completion of quarantine to pass the qualification certification and obtain a diploma.
“So that they do not waste time, we ask institutions to conduct certifications remotely and thus test the knowledge and skills of graduates,” said the Deputy Minister of Education.
The Ministry of Education and Science also explained how to carry out the certification of graduates for whom the internship was fully or partially covered by the quarantine period, and it is not possible to conduct it 123helpme.me in a remote format due to the peculiarities of the profession.
In particular, the Ministry of Education proposes to take into account the assessments of such students for industrial training, which they completed in the institution with the masters. It is a question of an estimation only of those subjects for which industrial practice was planned during quarantine. This will allow such graduates to remote state qualification certification.
The department also expressed hope that educational managers and students will be sympathetic to this decision.
“Now, in the conditions in which Ukraine and the whole world find themselves, we must respond quickly to challenges, give flexible and correct solutions to ensure a continuous educational process,” said Deputy Minister of Education and Science Peter Korzhevsky.

Students will automatically receive passing scores for the current semester due to the coronavirus epidemic |
In Spain, all students will receive satisfactory grades
In Spain, students will automatically receive passing scores for the current semester due to a coronavirus epidemic. This was reported by European Truth with reference to El Pais.
It is noted that all Spanish students will automatically receive satisfactory grades for the current semester, because due to quarantine they studied in emergency conditions. Relevant agreements have been reached between the Spanish Ministry of Education and the regional education authorities.
Specific scores for the semester teachers will be set, focusing on the success of students in the previous two semesters.
Students who have had serious learning difficulties will be given the opportunity to retake certain subjects in the fall, but will not be left for a second year – “except for minor exceptions that require coordination with regional education authorities.”
As you know, Spanish schoolchildren have been studying remotely for more than a month. Schools have tried to organize full-fledged education online, but with varying degrees of success. Educators expressed concern that children who do not have access to the necessary technology will fall behind due to quarantine. About 10% of them.
Some educational organizations are asking the government to continue the work of schools in the summer, if the epidemic allows, so that students who need extra help can attend courses and participate in sports activities.

The Office of the Education Ombudsman initiated a survey of parents on children’s education |
Parents’ opinion on distance learning will be studied in Ukraine
The Office of the Education Ombudsman initiated a survey of parents of schoolchildren on the education of children during quarantine.
This is stated in the message of the educational ombudsman Sergei Gorbachev on Facebook.
The purpose of the survey is to study the opinion of parents about the state of the organization of distance learning during quarantine.
According to the educational ombudsman, there are now three main trends in the organization of distance learning in schools – positive, formal and negative.
“Training during quarantine has become a definite challenge for teachers, parents and students. This experience is extremely important for all of us to understand what is happening in education now and what conclusions we will draw from this experience. Now I observe three expressive tendencies, three variants of the organization of distance learning at the level of educational institution “, – Gorbachev notes.
He attributes to the positive scenario a situation when teachers are constantly in touch with students, parents, school management, follow important news on distance learning, prepare in good faith for lessons on online platforms, are not limited to “reading”, but offer students carefully designed tasks of adequate volume, check their implementation, keep records of estimates for the quarantine period.
The second option is formal. These teachers allegedly conduct distance learning. But they do it in the form of a list of tasks dropped in Viber (sometimes – just photos – a handwritten sheet with a list of items and tasks). Tasks are either not checked at all or very selectively. The volume of tasks is huge and does not agree with other subjects.
“The third option is negative, ie lack of training. This is a lack of desire, effort and opportunities to organize the education of children during quarantine. There can be several reasons for this condition. Some teachers during quarantine refuse to work with children at all, do nothing, ignore the demands of parents and school management, there is no point in addressing the professional dignity of such teachers, “said the educational ombudsman.
According to him, some of these teachers do not have the necessary skills to organize distance learning. Some educators do not have the necessary computer equipment and sufficient speed of the Internet connection for distance learning.
“That is why it is very important for us now to see the state of the organization of distance learning through the eyes of parents. We ask you to speak as frankly as possible so that we can understand the problems that have arisen with training during quarantine for parents and children. The results of the survey will be presented at the Anti-Crisis National Online EdCamp, and the results and proposals will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, “Gorbachev said.
He urged parents not to be afraid to praise the school and teachers when there is something for it, and not to be afraid to express outrage if parents are not satisfied with the quality of distance education at school.

Teachers are fighting for a dignified life and the future of our children with you, and therefore for the future of the country |
Sergei Babak: all teachers are heroes now!
Author: Sergei Babak, head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education.
More than a week ago, the largest distance educational project in the history of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian School Online, began.
It was prepared by the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science and our Committee.
The project was launched in less than 2 weeks without a penny of the state budget. More than 40 teachers volunteered for the school and began recording their lessons for millions of children who were quarantined and denied access to knowledge.
The project was being prepared very quickly, literally from the wheels, the first lessons, which appeared on the screens on Monday, were still being edited at night. And teachers have never before worked under cameras for an audience of millions. That’s why some teachers made mistakes while recording video lessons. But instead of words of support, society, social networks, politicians and even their colleagues began to ridicule and harass these teachers, a kind of “public bullying” of teachers. Teachers, people with a capital letter, who decided on a volunteer basis to help the education system of Ukraine, which, like other educational systems in the world, was not ready for the challenges we all faced.
We all have rights. The right to free will, the right to freedom of speech, the right to life and many other rights, but, unfortunately, we have no right to … make a mistake!
It is this right of error that distinguishes progressive education systems from others. Our children are afraid to make a mistake, because they will get 2, because the teacher will scold them, because other students will laugh at them, because they will be scolded again at home. After all, children grow up insecure and are afraid to make a mistake all their lives. That is why there are so few entrepreneurs in our country, because we are afraid to take risks and make mistakes, because our society does not tolerate mistakes, and we always think before we do something: what will people say …
And it is this intolerance of mistakes that is one of the fundamental diseases of our society.
But at the same time, we should be proud of another feature of Ukrainians: the ability to unite in the face of threats.
Now doctors and teachers are helping the state now in the face of a pandemic.
Doctors at the forefront are fighting for our lives with you, and teachers – for a decent life and future of our children with you, and therefore – for the future of our country! And all of them are heroes now!
